Plans and Building Regulations

Building or town planning approval may be required by the local council prior to construction. This will depend upon the specific design aspect of the structure, including it's height above ground, clearance from site boundaries and weather or not it is covered by roofing.

If approval is required, the Building Surveyor must be supplied with three copies of plans and specifications detailing the proposal to build. Appropriate permit fees must be paid. This is part of Mr.Verandah's service, therefore I will require the following from you prior to job commencement:

• A copy of your existing property title (may be obtained from your own files, solicitor or bank)*
• A copy of your existing house plans*
• A 10% deposit of the total job cost
